Please find attached file.
The file downloads data from 3 websites and VBA codes arrange it as required. Problem is that on sheet \'Forebet\' the date format is in UK style while on sheet \'Dratings\' date is in US style. Excel does not understand the date on \'Forebet\' sheet for example it considers 12/01/2016 as Dec 01, 2016 while actually it is Jan 12, 2016. I need a solution may be in VBA code or another column (in case you use a formula or text to column option) in Forebet sheet.
Just for information: I copied column B and pasted into notepad then replaced the spaces with \'$\' sign in notepad then copied data and pasted into column K of \'Forebet\' then used this formula in column Q that gave the results I needed. If we can\'t get a solution within excel then may be we can use VBA to involve notepad as well.
=TEXT(LEFT(MID(K2,FIND(\"/\",K2,1)+1,155),FIND(\"/\",MID(K2,FIND(\"/\",K2,1)+1,155),1)-1)&\"/\"&LEFT(K2,FIND(\"/\",K2,1)-1)&\"/\"&MID(K2,FIND(\"$\",K2,1)-4,4),\"mmm/dd/yyyy\")
Few minutes work for someone excellent in excel.
Happy Bidding!!!
