I'm driving a project that requires the fusion of three peripherals - an accelerometer, a gyro, and a magnetometer - to track motion and gauge orientation. My preference goes towards STMicroelectronics modules as I find them to be consistent in delivering accurate readings. For this project, the chosen platform for data fusion and processing is an embedded system. Therefore, ideal candidates for this task should be highly proficient in embedded system design and development, and should have a solid background in working with MEMS peripherals from STMicroelectronics. The main goal of this project is for use in motion tracking and orientation sensing, which warrants a brilliant grasp of sensor integration. Relevant experiences in these areas will decidedly be advantageous. Potential freelancers should also consider the following: - Efficient and accurate data fusion algorithm formulation - Skilful integration of MEMS devices with an embedded system Candidates are encouraged to include their past experiences with similar projects, and also include how they handled challenges along the way. This should provide me with a clearer insight into your capabilities.
