Good day! ! My name is L. Farrah Furtado. I have wrote and published many works and a couple of books in English and in Chinese. I am Canadian raised and educated. I am now based in Taiwan. I work with my associate Joy Chui, a Chinese native who completed her MA in English from the UK. Before writing books we were English teachers for young children in Taiwan for over twelve years. My partner Joy wrote a children's short story book (with illustrations). It was chosen to be shown in a national exhibition. Joy also adapted the Charlotte's Web novel into a screen play for young English learners and was later invited to a national TESOL workshop to talk about it. I have written one children's book and the script, " Seal Sisters". It is ready to be published, we have chosen the illustrator and want to create this story into an audio file. But Weituo was obsessed with his career and didn't even notice the beautiful flower goddess. After a while, the emperor appointed the minister as a general in the human world and asked him to help humans. The flower goddess missed the general a lot and asked for emperor's permission to visit him. The emperor was deeply touched and allow her to visit him. But the emperor only gave her one day. When the flower goddess saw him, he had already forgotten the goddess. The goddess was very sad and said to the emperor: I want nothing but him. Please let me become a flower so that I can accompany him. The emperor was touched and made her a flower, called Tan flower. The Tan flower bloomed only once a year, only wishing Weituo could remember her.
