i need to identify the duplicate regions in an image for that i have to divide the image into overlapping blocks of fixed size lets suppose 8*, 16*16 pixels and then dct is performed on each block. Division of blocks should be performed in such a way that if the block is a square of size b × b then the square is slid by one pixel along the image from the upper left corner right and down to the lower right [login to view URL] please tell me how can i perform such kind of division of an image. I am very good at image processing, my major was this when I was in university. I am very proficient in c, c++. I have 16 years c++ developing experience now, and I have worked for 6 years. My work is online game developing, and mainly focus on server side, the language is c++ under linux. I used c++ to make many great projects, for example, I made the tools which can convert java files to c++ scripts which has the same effect, of course garbage collection included. Do you want to take DCT of an image without using builtin MATLAB function? I have done 2D Haar Wavelet transform on an image and I can it DCT too. Feel free to contact me.
