Hello,
You have been invited to work on a test file that represents a portion of the work we do in the pdf accessibility landscape.
This is only an unbranded test file because we require an NDA and BAA to be signed before working with an outside vendor. If you complete the file to our standards, then we can begin the vetting process and establish a relationship where regular work can be sent. The vetting process includes a detailed questionnaire, a vendor introduction call with our management and the signed previously mentioned agreements. (for this test file we can not offer compensation because it is a test of ability and not a production document)
For compensation we offer $2 per page for pdf remediation, and $4 per page for form field pdf remediation.
Please read everything below regarding the test file:
This is a 25 page pdf file and you will find the following features that needs to be remediated properly:
Document structure
Document meta data

Image alt text

Font encoding error
(This is a test, so do your best)
A special note for the table.
Please remove THead and TBody tags. Mark all Column Headers and Row Headers as TH and link all TD cells accordingly. Examine the table carefully because the cells that are 3 columns wide are header cells and need to be marked. The first column header cell applies to all TD cells in the table. (in a complete full length document, this is a “double column header” and applies until you see the next sub header) In the table on page 20 all TD cells should have 4 linked headers.
There is a table on page 3 that contains alt text for the main table on page 20. Please append these as alt test in the 3rd column of the table that begins on page 20.
