Hello Thanks very much for the information of the project. I got your point that you need to Crawl RSS feed and put it in DB. Though there are few questions which affects the life cycle of the project. 1) How the RSS feed will be provided to the program? will the program be provided with the URL or will be fed as xml files? 2) How do we map field in XML with DB fields? Standard hardcoded rules or can change dynamically? 3) Do you need a desktop program in C# or will it be a script running on the server? Please open communication for discussion. Regards Farhan

I done a similar project 3 year ago. In that project we crawl local newspaper( use opensource crawler) and facebook newsfeed( use facebook graph API). Then store data in database with lucene search engine. It has been a long time (3 year). But if I archive this project. I thinks i can handle it.
