I have a project that requires Trellis/multi-symbol/CPM demodulation of a GFSK signal. This demod should: 1) Accept complex samples - I and Q are 32-bit floats at 10 samples per symbol 2) Perform course frequency correction, followed by FIR filter for bandwidth limiting 3) Perform symbol timing recovery, whose output is complex 1 samp/symbol 4) implement trellis at 1 samp per symbol, hard decision output (no SOVA required) Given a specification of the modulation index and bandwidth time product, I will need you to: 1) Model an optimum demodulator and provide BER vs Eb/N0 curves. 2) Once the model is proven, conver the implementation to C/C++ 3) Test the C/C++ implementation like you did with the model for the following characteristics: * BER vs Eb/n0 * BER vs. frequency at Eb/n0 = 9. 5 dB * Convergence time (in symbols) at Eb/n0 = 9.5 dB * Benchmark on Zynq or similar platform and show CPU utilization. I can be flexible on platform/methodology if you do not have access to zynq 4) Deliver the code to me for exclusive licensing/use You can skip the modeling part if you just want to go direct to C/C++ and you're confident in your abilities to do so effeciently. Hi. I think as you said would be very good to go with the model in a simpler language let's say c# (could be matlab maybe too), then perform the port to c++. I have not worked directly with this kind of signals before, all DSP I've done is with images but I likely can handle it. I would need to study some parts however. I am programer but my brother studied telecommunications engineering. I can request help from him if needed. I don't have access to zynq I however have some knowledge of VHDL and Verilog. Time for project is just a rough estimate, could take longer.
