Social Media Marketing writers and bloggers

I am not sure how to bid on an ongoing project correctly. I am newer doing freelance writing and am looking for experience, my rates are negotiable.

My name is Sean and I am interested in this project. I have many skills that would be an asset to you, and I think you would like my work as much as I would enjoy a position like this. I need to tell you very briefly about myself, I have found through Freelancer and other online work sites that most employers are looking for a specific kind of person as much as they are looking for the work results. I am a 34 year old professional musician living in London Ontario, but currently travelling all over Canada playing shows and networking in many industries. At the moment I am in Brandon Manitoba attending their Folk Festival and meeting fantastic people. A college grad with a focus on english and philosophy, I feel I have a well above average grasp of effective writing and attractive advertising, I have edited, proofread and ghost written books and web content before. I am quite familiar with social networking from a marketing perspective, I have efffectively used sites like Facebook, Myspace, and many more to help indie bands and small businesses get the attention they need. I also have decent web design skills and above average photoshop abilities. I have helped many small businesses in the past create their first website, business packages, and advertisements.
