Hi. I used Nextion display to make a cutting machine which has a 3 stepper motors. I communicated Nextion with a STM32. I also used Nextion display with a ESP32 using both ESP-IDF and Arduino. I can make design also if you want. I can share my projects with a Nextion display. I am pretty sure that I can do this project in a 6 working days. I have arduino and stepper motors. I have read all the documents and understood what is the goal. I have used these motors before for 2D motion of raster scanner. However i had used limit switches for homing to zero position. My microcontroller was PIC18F4550 and GUI was developed in MATLAB. I have experience of working with MEGA2560 board however i prefer to use MikroC PRO for AVR instead of Arduino due to multiple reasons. I have experience of 7" touch panel display but with chinese version that is copy of nextion.
