Hi All,
My next job which I am starting form Monday needs a good knowledge of Sybase. I have a good understanding of oracle/mysql databases and previously worked on Sybase 11 back in 1998.
I am looking for a Sybase DBA to train myself or prepare a document with following Sybase details. I don't have much to spare so even a document downloaded from internet are OK but they should be related to practical's in Sybase. I don't want to read 500 page documentation set. I can bare max of 50 pages on each of following topic.
The things I am looking for -
1. Sybase Server Install
2. How to configure remote nodes for Sybase server
3. How to carry backup of database and transaction logs
4. Sybase Restore
5. Bulk copying and loading data into DB
6. Sybase replication
7. Sybase Tuning
