Screen capture component for Android phones/tablets

I'm looking for an application that will allow screen shots from one program to be captured and saved so they can be included in another program. Since I've been told that the Android OS does not support this function, your bid needs to convince me that you can do this project. I don't expect you to tell me exactly how you will do it, but I do need to know what the user would need to do or accept for this to work. For example, does your solution involve rooting the customer's phone. The ideal solution would work something like this: 1) Our application (App A) would have a button to launch the screen capture application 2) The user would also launch the application (App B) whose screens would be captured 3) The screen capture application would then capture the screens from App B and save them to a PNG or other image file. The naming convention and storage location of the capture files can be decided later. I don't expect a firm bid now. Instead, I want you to tell me whether you can do this and how close you can come to the steps described above. I'm going to set this as a very small project, but with the understanding that the actual cost may be higher. Once you have described your general approach, we will work out the specifics of the deliverable (including source code) and exactly how it will work. We use a wireframe product ([login to view URL]) to payout program flow and will need to agree with you on exactly how this will work.
