Hi there, after a really basic batch file that will do the following. step 1. Check a file on the system for the date and time (in a directory - the file name will stay the same, just date will change). step 2. if the file is older than 60 minutes perform this action (call another batch file) step 2. else if the file is newer than 60 minutes (else) end the batch file notes the file on the system will be in a folder on the c drive (a pdf). C:\New Folder\[login to view URL] step 2. will call this action C:\[login to view URL] You can develop on my PC using team viewer 10 to connect.

I'm currently hired at a big betting company based in the UK , where my tasks are mainly but not resumed to : - automatic deployment of SQL code/packages to the Oracle Data-warehouse ( mainly implementing Continuous Delivery using Go , Jenkins and shell scripts and other internal frameworks ) - ansible automation of server( Mainly CentOs and RedHat) installation ( installation of packages , configuration files , etc ... ) - monitoring application servers ( mainly java apps that move around data from various systems , with zabbix and nagios depending on the nature of the server ) - implementing AWS services with current infrastructure ( mainly EC2 instances ,DB's , S3 ,VPC , but not resumed to these ) . My previous experience is in the following fields : 1. Networking - Worked as a network support technician within one of the biggest providers in Romania 2. Databases - Implemented MS SQL DB and virtualized data between Oralce and MS SQL DB's while working at Robert Bosch , created queries to display data for interactive graphs 3. Web-servers - Presented data from various data sources ( oracle , ms sql , mysql , excel ) via a small web-portal constructed on IIS . Regarding your needs I can definitely help you out . Is this for actual true DOS? Or is this for a command prompt within Windows? I will need to know the DOS or Windows version. I don't know how to do this using pure batch. But it could be done in either DOS or Windows with the help of a small executable program compiled from C/C++ or Assembly. The program could return an error code to the batch file which would use %ERRORLEVEL% to make the decision. This is how I would prefer to do it. Another option is to redirect a "dir" listing to a temp file, and use a small QBASIC program to compare the times. The QBASIC program could then either write or delete another BAT file to be called by the first one.
