Hi, I recently developed a similar autonomous driving application for a client where I used convolutional neural networks to determine steering angle of autonomous vehicles at 10 fps. I am a computer engineer graduate and have a long track of developing high latency systems with minimal computation resources. I have implemented the background subtraction, contour tracking and optical flow techniques in the past. Recently, I implemented an optimised convolution operation on both GPUs and FPGAs and subsequently published the approach in a research paper.
