Desktop and Web Application Needed

This is a two part project. It involves creating a desktop application? ? in VB or JAVA that will work in conjuction with a website written in Classic ASP or .NET using a MS SQL databse. More details to follow... ## Deliverables **Project X - Two Parts **Part 1 Desktop application that does the following (Can use best available technology) 1. Gets URL of all visited websites on an interval basis set by user. 2. For each website that is found, a website email is produced using info@<domain...>, webmaster, etc... as specified by user 3. A history of all email addresses is collected and automatically uploaded to a web server/web-based application with MS SQL server as the database on an interval basis set by the user. 4. The user will never have direct access to these emails and they will be encrypted in some type of file. Part 2 Web-based application (Windows Technology on MS SQL Server) 1. Web application has two interfaces a. Interface for users (user admin) b. Interface for owner (owner admin...me) 2. When someone first comes to the site, they will be able to see information on how the applications work and then download and install the desktop application or toolbar. After instal, they can read usage instructions. 3. When the user tries to upload the emails for the first time, it instructs them to login or create an account. 4. There wil be several options to the user once they login and upload the emails via web interface or desktop application interface. The options are: a. View number of emails to send (always showing) b. View number of emails sent since a certain date (can reset) c. Send all emails collected (trial limit is first 200 and can be changed by owner admin) - After trial limit is reached, they are instructed to purchase a "block" of emails. A block for example is 1000 emails and I should be ble to set how many emails are in the block and also how much they will be charged per block. Blocks can be purchased using PayPal IPN and/or AlertPay IPN; they may purchase however may blocks they want and the total number of emails that they may send based on blocks purchased will always be shown with a warning at 999 or less or whatever I specify. d.) The user will be able to send emails, track deliveries (opens, bounces, links clicked in email) e.) Users will be able to save and preview their email messages as templates for later usage and may use text or HTML with hosted images. 5. During trial, all emails sent during the trial will have a link and link text that I specify at the bottom of the email. Optionally for non-trials set by me. 6. All emails will have at the top a message that states "that they are being emailed because..." and I will be able to specify what this message says, not the user. 7. Only one email is sent per email address collected per user; however, two different users can sent just one email each to the same email address. This email history is never deleted or can be by me only. 8. Only emails that have been "read" are subtracted from the trial or block. 9. The user may skip the trial and unlock their account at anytime by purchasing at least one block. 10. In owner admin panel, I will also be able to see usage statistics for any user and also their registration information. I will be able to activate, deactivate or "archive" any account. Archive means not viewable to them but is still in the system. If they cancel, it is termed deactivated but they can still login and see their stats, reactivate and purchase new blocks. 11. I will be able to set the SQL Server database connection, email server information, and default email in the "From of the email. The reply to will always be the email address associated with the user account. 12. When registering for the site, they will have to confirm their email address prior to setting up their account. 13. I want to be able to rebrand my site as needed so if I change my name or logo, I want an area in my login where I can change the site colors and upload new logos and banners and they will be changed throughout the site. * * *This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Tuesday Jan 27, 2009 2:54:25 PM: This project has just been reactivated.
