This project is intended to develop tools that will be used to support a newly formed Project Management Office. Tool 1 - Development a set of guiding principles & criteria presented as a powerpoint to outline what defines a large, medium, small project and what the mandatory elements are required dependent upon catagorisation i.e. Large project requires full time Project Manager and Business Analyst / Full project method, Small project lead by internal project officer, Project Office Support, etc. Tool 2 - This tool will be used to evaluate a project & program investment requests to establish the categorisation of the project. Presenting an initial entry survey to establish the criteria and then generate a suggested category based on the input. This should be capable of printing the results for audit purposes. Tool 3 - Develop a Project Program and Portfolio Master Register used to capture projects through the lifecycle of the project from request through to close. This should have the ability provide a dashboard view (i.e. PivotGraphs) for executives showing the number of projects and at what stages they are at, the number of projects grouped by portfolio / grouped by Project Manager / grouped by status. To record weekly status updates against each. Basic printable reporting. For each tool samples & examples will be provided to provide guideance on the information to be captured. Input and feedback will be provided throughout The project has a 3 week duration
