There is an already existing WebService hosted on AWS. There is an already existing Drupal site, with a page consisting of a form, capturing a few numerical fields from the user. The fields are already defined and stored in variables. I already have the exact url structure to call the API using those fields, using the GET method. The fields have to be passed as a JSON, passed as a string named 'request'. This is not the real URL for the API, but it the structure is similar to this: e.g. [login to view URL]\apiname?request='{"param1": [10, 45, 90, 100], "param2": 0.95, "years": 4,"param3": ["name1", "name2", "name3", "name4"]}' This will return a JSON with some numerical values (scalars and arrays). These values just have to be just parsed from the JSON response, and printed out at the bottom of the current content page. NOTE: the code has to reside on the server, so no code structure for calling the API has to be on the client. On the client, the code has only to capture the user fields, and then pass them to the server that makes the call. So on AWS, I will enable only calls coming from the IP of the server hosting Drupal. I understand your use case completely. Using PHP within the Drupal site (on the server side), you will initiate a cURL request to the host web service. This may require authentication, which is easy enough. We will JSON encode the list of parameters and pass them through the "request" parameter to the web service. That web service will return a JSON object, and we will decode it and write it to the HTML output. I am new to freelancer, but not to development. I have more than 10 years of PHP and web service development. We will get this done right the first time, and stay committed to make sure you are completely satisfied.

Hello, how are you doing? I was looking around and got interested in your project. I understood that it is a simple project (even if you need to call an API outside the Drupal system) and with a medium difficult to implement. The StackExchange way I believe it is a better way, as you apparently don't need something more robust than a complete module like Web Service Client or even Services module (they are better when you have multiple interactions to do). I need to confess I don't really know about the Amazon AWS API, you will have to specify detailed what you need and what to call, what will be the response and how to use it. This form is a node or a webform or something else? When you say it has to print the returned values at the screen, will they also be saved (as node, webform entry, etc.) or just printed? If you can provide the link for the current website, it should help to understand better too. It also can help to get a better time and price for you too.
