Hi. I believe I can help you. I'm a 5th year student of computer science. Using Weka I've built various classifiers using learners such as J48, Logistic Model Tree and Naïve Bayes. I've used them for detection of travel mode (walking vs running), speech recognition and activity recognition. All of those were made using time-based data.

Hello I have taken a look at your diagram. Is it something like a heartbeat time series? I have working on time series analysis (mostly in the context of climate time series) for 4 years now. I can use normal FFT, and I can also use ANN to detect anomalies and/or repeating patterns. Are you looking for periodic patterns, or is the condition of periodicity laxed?
