I am looking for a programmer to write a programme that will allow me to email a website user an icon that when they click it, it will download to their PC and appear on their desktop as the same icon. When they click the icon the user will be taken to a log on page for my website. I also want the programme to be downloadable from my website via a link. So that the icon again appears on their desktop and has the same functionality. The shortcut is designed to help them and stop them forgetting the website address and be more proprietary to ensure they remain a user of ours. The programme must work on both Windows and Mac systems. The programme must be user friendly and require no skills to download. SImply by clicking the icon it must download to the users PC with them having to do nothing else.
