In summary the basic management requirements will be:
* To direct solar pv power to home consumption
* To direct surplus pv power to battery storage
* To direct surplus pv power to grid when storage is full
* To draw additional power from battery when necessary
* To draw additional power from grid when necessary (power consumption exceeds inverter limit, battery reaches set level of discharge)
* To recharge battery from grid at set times depending on battery discharge levels
