Software Engineer needed – Permanent – C/C++/Linux I am currently looking for a software engineer for a client based outside of London. The client specialises within Mobile devices and they are looking for a candidate to join the Mobile platform team to work on the latest virtualization technology. Candidate must have experience within: - Low Level Linux Kernel development - Real time Embedded software development - ARM processors - C/C++ or Java Any experience within multiple operating systems, Virtualization or Hypervisor would be very advantageous. The client would consider a contractor for this role but you must be able to work onsite and have an existing work visa. A full job description is on standby.

Virtualization is one of our main areas of experience. For example, we maintain Windows paravirtualized drivers for Redhat, also theese days, we are making submission of VMware paravirtualized devices we implemented into QEMU (see it in qemu-devel archives). We can provide recommendations from relevant people by request. Though we are Israel based company and cannot work onsite permanently I'm sure we will come to reasonable schedule for onsite presence as needed to make efficient project development.

Hello there, I'm a Linux snob. Nothing Micro$oft is allowed near my computers. I run a small VPS server with the help of Virtualmin and am an experienced C/C++ programmer. More importantly my first programming job 26 years ago involved writing programs for z80 based hand held devices and I am well versed in resource constraints. However it's been a while and I am rusty, that I admit and I wasn't aware that the ARM processors could handle KVM. Of importance is the fact that I'm based in Hertfordshire.
