Hello, Do you have expertise in rewriting C program? The project consists of taking an existing 3000 line C program which is totally "flat" and rewriting it to make it modular, hierarchical, simpler and easier to understand. The original program was written by a script writing expert rather than a C programmer. Deliverables would include the rewritten program, the test bench and QA results. The goal is to finish it in 3-5 days max. The code is essentially a simple sequential test program to test a chip on a tester so there are no complications like parallelism or multi-core. So you will have to identify common tasks and create them as functions/subroutine calls, define global variables etc .. again things that make the code hierarchical. We can work with you over phone/email to explain the code to you so you can get it done quickly. Please let me know asap.
