It is really unfortunate that your investment is wasted totally. You have been betrayed on relying a developer and appoint him on your website project. I can understand that it effect your business as well. Now you became frustrated due to failure of your previous developer. Basically few freelancers are there who have taken project only for money; They will take responsibility to work on your project although they are not capable to take responsibility and waste time and money of investor as well. But believe me- I don't work not only for money- I believe in relationship as well. Relationship is alive money; You know what- in many projects, I have worked whether the budget was not sufficient for projects but only for my commitment and relationship maintenance I worked on those projects; And I was not sad at all to work with those projects. I gave my 100% effort on those projects as well and give equal priority of that project in comparison with budgeted project.
