I am apart of a startup that provides shared hosting, reseller hosting, VPS hosting, and dedicated servers. I am looking to hire an independent customer service representative for a web hosting company, who will work in liaison with our outsourced support team and management team.
Agencies/staffing companies please do not apply. This is a remote position, and qualified applicants from anywhere in the world will be considered.
The ideal candidate has great familiarity with the below:
- WHMCS Ticketing System
- Familiarity with the [login to view URL] live chat program
- A decent understanding of shared hosting, reseller hosting, and VPS
- Able to work fast, multitask and handle both high pressure, and less busy times
- Great communication and written skills
Your day to day role will consist of: answering support tickets and Live Chats we receive from customers, and communicating with our support team on our Skype internal chat appropriately. Customer service and sales skills are more important here than technical background (though, a generic technical understanding is appreciated), as we have a 24x7 support team you will be working with to resolve any technical questions you may have. In this role, you will mostly serve as the liaison between the customer and our support team. You will be communicating with both customers and potential customers via our ticketing system and Live Chat.
Other candidate requirements:
- Individual, NOT from a staffing agency
- Solid/reliable Internet connection
- Able to multi-task
- Great customer service skills, able to write proficient English (no phone calls are necessary, all interaction with our staff and clients are mostly done via e-mail/ticket system/chat)
- Ability to work for an average of 8 hours per day (shift preference can be discussed in detail for qualified candidates)
- Preferably at least 2+ years of experience in the web hosting or related industry (please include your prior experience in your application/bid).
We are looking to work with an individual who understands our mission, and that great opportunity is available as the company grows.
We are looking for a long-term candidate - this is NOT just a one month job. You will get paid on a monthly basis. Given we're a startup and are not profitable (yet), our budget to fill this role is: $225 USD/month (with an immediate raise to $250 USD/month within 3 months). This makes this role a perfect match for candidates from areas such as southeast Asia, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Belarus, etc.
