Art of the Huaquero

I am a professional Treasure Hunter with over 20 years experience. I have been living and working in Central America with electronics locating and extracting pre columbian artifacs to be sold on the market. I am also the only North American doing this. Most people do not even know what this kind of business is and how it works. To my knowledge very little has ever been written about it. I am going back to Central America in 4 to 6 months. I was in Nicaragua for years with $20K in electronics to map out areas of interest that one would never find on the web. I have a local Sandanista contact. An ex soldier from the Contra War that is very well conected. He was able to get information from the Government archives that is not available to the public that he and I followed through on and have discovered buried Spanish Colonial cities, Mayan temple and much more. All untouched and I am the first one there with electronics to map out the area for eventual extraction. There is also one place that is completely untouched and unknown to the outside world. A fortress of European design that is in Mayangna territory. A very primitive and dangerous place for foreigners and Sandinista Government forces. The tribes there fought the Sandinistas and are still hostile. However, I and my partner have been invited there by the King. I do believe that this should be written about. I am getting too old for humping mountains out in the jungle and there are not too many people left like me that go and do this kind of business in these kind of places anymore. Maybe, 5 or 6 Guys left. Me included. I would not be letting this kind of business be written about for the cash. I would be allowing a writer along to document this for history's sake and the fact that these things have actually happened. Be aware that this is not a Liberal twinkle toe operation. These are real people with real agendas and that is to dig up ancient Indian and Spanish gold coin and bar to be sold on the international black market. They are not interested in being in a book. This is a dirty, hot, bug infested and dangerous job for me and any writer that would be crazy enough to come along. What I can say is that it would be the first book of its kind. Keep this in mind before you decide to respond to this. I recommend at least an intermediate level of Spanish. My Spanish still sucks after living there all these years. The Author can be in the book. I have no issues with this.
