animated ferris wheel in opengl C language

Following the success of the London Eye, there are a number of similar wheels appearing throughout the country. I have been asked by a friend to do him a favour and construct a Ferris Wheel in an open space in front of a library. Your task is to design a working model of the wheel using C in OpenGL, so that I can gain a feel for how it might look. Could you please make sure that it is very simple. Your design should adhere to the following:- * the framework should consist of a tall vertical pillar, on top of which is a short horizontal bar protruding beyond the pillar and with a sphere attached to its end (the pillar and bar should be coloured orange and with no specular reflection effects- intended to be cylinders but approximated by a tube constructed from rectangular facets; sphere should be red and again approximated by facets) * five spokes, each with a cabin attached, are connected to the sphere in a plane normal to the direction of the bar * each cabin has flat roof and floor, with hexagonal sides - the lower half of each side is grey metallic in appearance with a high specular reflection coefficient, while the upper half is translucent * each cabin is initially upright * as the sphere rotates (in the plane of the spokes), the spokes rotate but each cabin remains upright * the pillar is placed in the grassy area in front of the library * You don’t need to draw the library in 3D. This can be any simple picture (ie JPEG) of a library The initial viewpoint is from a position facing the Ferris wheel and the Library, at an eye-point level with the sphere at the top of the pillar (i.e., above ground level). The scene should be lit by a single light source, positioned so that specular effects will be visible. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Should work on Linux system, and be written in C
