Posting for freelance programmer We are looking for someone to write code for a project using a Allen bradley micro-logic 1200 plc. The purpose is to locate the exact nail position on wooden pallets. We will be using a grouping of 20 -9 mm proximity sensors. Typically there are groupings of 4 nails securing each of the boards. The area to be scanned is 48 inches long and 6 inches wide. The goal Buber of nails will range from 35-55 The nails can also be sunk into the wood. The nail heads are 4 mm in diameter. A small collaborative robot will be used to pass the twenty sensors over are areas that have nails We are located in Toronto Ontario. We are looking for the talent and a ball park cost.

Hi! I'm assuming you mean inductive proximity sensors, if it's something else please do let me know. The scope of the work wasn't fully clear from your description. Do you mean to get the algorithm developed that deduces the nail location after one (or more) passes of the sensors over the nails bearing wood? Or to get the robot programmed too that moves the sensors over the wood? I am interested in this project. I would be happy to discuss more. I have embedded programming experience and use c/c++ and assembler (obviously) for the purposes.
