I am a software engineer for a large international company. I work with Visual Studio 2010 and 2013 every day full time. I plan on working roughly 13 hours a week on extra projects unless a deadline requires more. I will put the necessary time into any project to make meet all deadlines and I pride myself on writing clean manageable code. The first thing I would do for this project would be to get a good understanding of what data you want to keep track of. I would use prototyping to make sure you are happy with the design before the actual coding. This should be an easy project.
