Hi mate, I reckon I can help out here, since joining this and other similar sites, i have picked up a few repeat clients requiring take offs for different things, insulation, flooring, roof shingles etc. i have a structural drafting background, so i am more than familiar with the requirements you outlined. After a short discussion as to what exactly you need me to do, we should be right to go. I've been toying with take off software, if i can secure enough regular work, then I can justify the costs involved. this will make my job easier and the quantity estimation presented in a more professional format. if you would like to discuss this further, please let me know, i have enough time in my work schedule to accommodate these projects. Hi, I am a Structural Engineer and have done a lot of estimation projects. Generally I manually do the estimations but in case of complex buildings I use the software "Takeoff Live" Yes am comfortable working on fixed price projects. I can a few samples if required. Thanks, rgds Neelima Rao
