Scenario: Task Scheduler starts a program which triggers an event on my local machine. The event can send out an email or place a csv file with event info into some folder on the my machine. Those events consist of a date and time as well as one line of information. I would like those events imported automatically into my google calendar where they create their own event. Example: Email says, on September 12, 2 pm Check the value of Apple stock. So the google calendar should have an entry on September 12, at 2 pm "Check the value of Apple stock". As far as I know, google calendar events can be created manually via google mail (add event) or via a manual import of a csv file. [login to view URL] I want this to be a fully automated process. I firmly believe that I am able to solve your problem quickly. I see the solution being a script that can be run from Task Scheduler at the same time the email is sent out. This script would use the same information from the email to construct an event in your Google Calendar automatically. In order to complete the project, I will require some information from you. Namely: 1. A Google Calendar ID from the calendar you wish to add the event to. (Can be multiple if you would like). 2. Most likely a Google Calendar API key or other form of authentication to add the event to the calendar. The information requirements can be discussed further on job acceptance. I am happy to help you acquire necessary information should you need assistance. I have implemented a similar project previously through a website that I was responsible for building. I would aim to complete your project within 24 hours, however, it may require extra time depending on how quickly I can access the required API key / calendar ID, and how quickly the program can be tested on your end for completeness. Hello. I am Python developer. I used Google API with other things like access to Google Docs or getting places from Google Map. So to be honest i didn't try to work with Google calendar before. But i hope that there is no big difference in access methods to other Google applications. Please provide me an example of csv file and expected path to it.
