Do some 3D Modelling -

Hi, I'm an interior design teacher who has never taught 3D basics. (Imagine that!) however, I do know that my students learn best when they have examples. That's where you come in. I need help creating my projects so I can show the students what the end result is supposed to look like. Because I'm also a full time interior designer, I don't have the time to create these models myself. Below are the projects. These are actual 3D models, not computer generated models. Please help! Thank you! Project 1: Create a sculpture using these 3D forms: Cylinder Cone Pyramid Cube Use Bristol board, chipboard or form core. (No tape) Project 2: Create a 3D model of a famous piece of furniture using Bristol board, chipboard, foam core and/or paper. (I'm thinking the Eames Molded Plywood Chair [login to view URL]) Project 3: Create a 3-D wall treatment that will be installed as an accent wall in a residential or commercial setting. Integrate some the following principles of design: balance, emphasis, harmony, repetition, movement, proportion and scale The wall is 8’ high and 10’ wide mounted on a base; be creative. Scale 1” = 1’- 0” Made out of recycled materials Final Project: For your final project, design and construct a scale model of a house or building from a recent interior design project. This project is designed to demonstrate your understanding of how to design and construct 3D objects. Begin by sketching the building footprint and elevations then build a study model to determine scale. The sketches and study model will be submitted to show process. Explore different materials to determine what will work best for your final model. (I will give you the floor plan)
