Web Scraping Application and e-Commerce website

We want to provide web users with a centralized platform for shopping furniture online. Our goal is to provide a single source point for shopping furniture online for both new and used items across today’s leading furniture and lifestyle brands. Additionally, we want to engage users to keep them updated on new products and product lines that meet their individual tastes and needs. Project scope will include: - Develop live furniture aggregation using web scraping using available libraries such as BeautifulSoup to aggregate and maintain a database of furniture product listings at major US brands. Team must be able to and comfortable in writing web crawling code. At least initially, it won't be possible to rely on APIs or build an interface directly in to the furniture store website's back-end database. - Develop a website to post gathered product data in a searchable, seamless and minimalist UI. Users should be able to search for furniture online and see product details. Purchasing activity will be completed at the vendor's site so no shopping cart or payment processing capability will be needed in the initial phase. However, users will need to be able to create a log-in account and create a wish list or basket of items to save as favorites or to purchase from the vendor's website. Please provide a detailed response with your team's prior experience, capabilities and expected timeline. The development team must be comfortable in writing custom script and building a custom website from the ground up as this is not a simple website for a physical store but an evolving internet start-up.
