Create a web-based regex quiz with a user account system and stats pages

I would like to work with a freelancer to develop a web-based regex quiz in PHP: - Users will be able to create an account / login / play as Guest (via cookies). - The quiz will be a series of tasks. - Each task will have some intro text. - Each task will ask the user to create a regular expression to do one of: "check" something (simple boolean match), "match" something (match specific parts of the string), "substitute" something (perform substitutions). I am open to suggestions on how best to store the test data for each of these types of task. - If a user's regex fails a test, they should be notified on which test subject it failed. - If a user passes, they move on to the next task. - There will be a competition element; users will compete to create the shortest regex for a given task. So there will be high score tables / stats pages. What I will provide: - The intro text for each task. - The task descriptions. - The test subjects. What I need assistance with: - Designing the interface. - Advice regarding test data storage. - Coding the quiz itself, including the solution verification, user accounts, and scoring system. If you are interested, please let me know and show me an example of a similar system you've made before. I am particularly interested in seeing how you implemented a user account system, as I have a specific vision in mind here. I also need someone who writes clean, well-commented code as I may make changes in the future. I have no deadline for this.
