Start up company looking to implement custom multi site specific search engine into marketplace. Essentially the search engine would need to be able to combine the results of several other search bars from across the web. An example would be searching multiple classified pages at the same time for the same item. The query would need to be able to be mirrored into a set list of sites. The results would then need to be able to be indexed and filtered in a way that our customers could view them with pictures and prices. I have attempted to write this code myself and keep coming up short. There are other sites doing something very similar (like searching all of the craigslist cities at once) but I can't seem to find the right code. We would like to have this done by the end of next month if at all possible. We are also designing a multi vendor market place that has some customization I can't quite figure out. If this job goes well, we might have some additional work available to.
