Jazz & Blues Events web design & development

Description: We are an event management company specialised in organising, staging and promoting live music concerts, festivals and tours; with a main focus on jazz, blues, funk, R&B and Latin music. We also provide international artist booking management services for a select number of sensational artists. Website Needs: As we're enting new growth markets, we need a new corporate website, which we can utilise as our online business card and use to promote our events and artists. Our key target audience is the corporate market: e.g. event managers, festival managers, artistic managers, marketing managers, sponsorship managers and managing directors who are looking for a market leading events manager and promoter. The quality of the graphic design and functionality is very important: it needs to be corporate, entertaining, compelling and colourful (using pictures and designs). We have a good looking logo (attached), which can be used as basis for the website design. We will require the following: * 8 buttons required: Home, About Us, Events & Festivals, Artists, Make an Enquiry, News, Contact Us, Links. * The 'Artist' page will need to display a series of artist images (10 to 15) that can be selected or scrolled through. Each artists will need to have a bio page, with a streaming music sample, a video clip and links to their social media profiles (e.g. Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, ReverbNation). * Website needs to be viewable and usable on any PDA or iPhone. * Top of home page will need to have changing photos of artists we present or have presented (for example see: [login to view URL] or [login to view URL]). * Additional functionality: Newsletter signup, Overview latest news, Events agenda box, Twitter Feed, Facebook feed, social media link buttons (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn). * Streaming music on home page (selection of our own artists). * We need to be able to update images and animations ourselves. * As CMS preferably Modx or similar open source and easy to use content management system. * Some interactive movement of selection elements (pictures on home page, etc) would be preferred. Timing: * We would like to review work over the next 2-5 days. * The website content and other information for inclusions is immediately available. * Then completion and upload for a fully operating site within a further 2-5 days. We also have an ongoing need for our event websites and client(artist) websites to be created, so we are keen to establish a longer term relationship with the right person or company.
