This software will allow applicants to a school district to take a job selection exam and provide school administrators with results to compare the scores of applicants. The software needs to be able to • Collect demographic information for job experts surveyed as well as districts using software • Aggregate survey responses for specific schools and across related demographics • Analyze respondent data to identify most critical competencies for a selection tool o Use job expert survey results to identify % of time spent on individual work behaviors as well as work behavior importance o Use job expert survey results to identify tasks that are: performed frequently, critical, and needed when beginning the position o Use job expert survey results to identify knowledge, skills, abilities, and other attributes that are: critical, needed at entry, and have distinguishing value. o Run formulas that cross reference aggregated survey responses to determine which competencies and work behaviors meet given criteria and are related to each other. • Maintain database of competencies, work behaviors and tasks that are identified with descriptors or indicators that can be queried to create selection questions. • Allow job experts to provide ratings of effectiveness on selection questions • Analyze job expert responses to provide average ratings and determine score range for each question • Maintain database of test questions • Allow job applicants to complete selection assessment online, thank them for their time, and let them know what happens next in the selection process. • Score applicant responses against average ratings provided by job experts. • Allow admin user to establish cut scores for individual districts to screen out applicants based on selection exam score • Allow school administrators to identify top five applicants based on assessment results Applicants need to be able to • Register as a user • See available job postings for a district • See job description, district info, salary • Apply for open positions • Print application form • Leave references • Upload resume • Upload video of themselves teaching and possible portfolio of instructional artifacts (optional) • Choose to be notified (or opt out) for future positions • Complete an online situational judgment exam School administrators need to be able to • Upload a customized header for their district • Post open positions w/ job descriptions, district info, salary • View applicants for open positions • View uploaded resumes, videos, and artifacts • Filter applicants for minimum qualifications • Notify registered users for future positions • Provide selection exam for minimally qualified users • View and sort results of applicants (w/o identifying information) • Contact applicants by email to schedule interview or that they are not being considered for employment Subject Matter Experts Need to Be Able to • Complete survey of job competencies, tasks, and work behaviors • Take the selection exam and provide ratings on effectiveness of responses to situational stem I (the owner of the platform) need to be able to • Bill customers and manage accounts • Monitor the performance of the site • Ensure the site is backed up and has system restore points • Export data into Excel
