**Geeklog Custom Registration Modification:** Specifications The selected programmer will modify the existing Geeklog registration process and create a corresponding custom report with the ability to specify report parameters at runtime. It is critical to note that I cannot give you ftp access to the environment. If you do not have access to your own instance for development and testing, I will give you FTP, Administrator and user access to a development Geeklog environment. As files need updated, I will push them up to the production server. The selected programmer must provide the source/any new or added files, and instructions for installation on the host environment, including required modifications to the underlying tables (or, depending on the architecture of the solution, a sql script file to create a custom table to hold the necessary information). All source must be fully commented in english. ## Deliverables The following are the unique tasks contained in this effort. Tasks are listed in the order that they will be completed and delivered to the client for testing and approval. Parallel development is allowed. I have described tasks from the perspective of Geeklog users and administrators. Geeklog can be downloaded at <[login to view URL]>. Background information regarding custom registrations in Geeklog is available here <[login to view URL]>. **Task 1:** Modify the Geeklog Registration process for new users to include the following fields. The added fields will be viewable and editable in the My Account section under the Username & Password and About You tabs as appropriate. Username will not be editable. The fields will also be viewable/editable from the moderation section, User Editor screen for administrators. * Username * Email Address * First Name * Last Name * Street * City * State (drop-down with 50 US States ??" use the existing Geeklog array) * Zip * Day Phone (Masked three sectioned area for area code and number xxx-xx-xxxx format. Auto tab after completion of each segment.) * Cell Phone (Masked three sectioned area for area code and number xxx-xx-xxxx format. Auto tab after completion of each segment.) * Secondary email address * Voice Part (Drop-down ??" Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) * Notes (Long Text Entry field) **Task 2:** Modify the Batch Import of user function to allow all of the fields above to be pulled in via a tab-delimited file. I will provide a mock file for testing. Directions on the Batch Import page must be updated. **Task 3:** Create a custom report that reports out user information. The report must be secured using Geeklog’s security model. In other words, I want to create a group (called reports) that I can add to a user’s account. Users in this group will have access to either a plug-in or static page that houses this report (and future reports that I or others develop). The report must allow the user to select parameters at runtime that include: Report Type: Mailing List, Full Roster, Calling List, and Program List. Report Groups: Allow users to select any combination of groups in the system. The selection of group pulls users into the report. Output Type: (HTML, CSV) I will provide sample reports for each report type Conditions for acceptance. 1) Complete and fully-functional working modifications to Geeklog as described in the three tasks of the effort. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition and will be fully tested by the requester on the development and production system. 3) Documentation for installation and maintenance of the Geeklog modifications must be provided in html, Word, or PDF format. 4) All deliverables will be reviewed and tested for acceptance. The buyer will complete testing in no more than 96 hours from delivery. 5) Sellers must acknowledge that the source will be released to the public in accordance with the GNU General Public License by signing an acknowledgment form. ## Platform The environment is Geeklog 1.4.1 running on a LAMP box (FreeBSD 4.11-RELEASE-p17, Apache/1.3.34., MySQL 4.0.27, PHP/4.4.2). Deliverables must perform when tested under Firefox 2.0+ and IE 6.0+. Please note that Geeklog is an Open Source application released under the GNU General Public License. All work produced under this effort will be made publically available and released under the GNU license.
