We are looking for a for a developer to redesign our Unix command-line simulator, and develop a Window2000/XP command-line simulator. You can take a look at the Unix simulator at: [login to view URL] We are looking for the developer to redesign the Unix sim so that we have better support for different browsers, and ensure that the user will not have to download anything to run the app. We are developing the content for the Windows simulator now, but we welcome the developer's input on the application design as well as its content. I'm attaching the outline that was given to the developer that built our Unix simulator to this bid request. Developers please read the outline, go through all of the lessons in our Unix sim, and submit your bid along with answers to the following questions: 1. What do you see as design flaws in the Unix Simulator, and how would you fix those flaws with the app you would develop? 2. How would you do to ensure compatibility with multiple browsers, and different browswer versions? 3. How would you elimiate or significantly minimize the need for the user to download software for the app to run correctly? ## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
Applet must run on an Apache Red Hat Linux server, and not require the user to download/install a bunch of stuff to run the simulator.
