Website cleanup and conversion

This project consists of two websites, a support site and a partner order site, that need to be cleaned up and converted to clean ASP. The two websites: A support and a partner order website for a client. Both now use cgi's and third party components, and ASP in Perl. Both have a lot of files that are obsolete and can be deleted with no impact. One site also uses on or multiple Access databases. We already know a bulletin board and a poll system in one website will be turned off immediately. Our deliverables are two zip files with the current html/asp/etc files. Your assignment will be to take those two sites, and without any help, convert all technology in them (cgi, Perl ASP, etc) to VBScript ASP, with only components that I approve. File upload and email sending will be with [login to view URL] 's sa-fileup and sa-sendmail. I need to rely on the developer(s), team, company that takes this assignment to work with minimal feedback. Access to the live sites can be arranged so you know how the end result needs to work. I will expect and require VERY well tested code, tested for any errors, for correct emails going out, and all functionality on the existing sites will be mirrored perfectly. You will need to be extremely self-reliant and an excellent tester to take this assignment. Due to the size of these two websites (mostly download PDFs and EXEs), the sites are not attached, but downloadable at: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] (Large .EXE downloads in Support omitted due to size) ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform This will have to run on Windows Server 2003 with IIS, using Classic ASP in VBScript, and Access. Any use of ASP components is subject to approval, except for the two mentioned in the description.
