We have contact database with us, with many other details. When we create a lead or create a contact, we need a find button with reference on page and which will pull the data from our API and populate it into the forms. We need some visualisation of the data as well there. The output would be like an integration plugin, which we can later sell on Salesforce as plugin. Not sure about the technology Salesforce Using, but our API is written with Nodejs
