Hi, With more than 6 years of relational database development and administration experience, I have worked with big organizations as well as startups. Following are the recommended solutions for your job requirement. 1)Have create-date and update_date columns for your table. When new record will be inserted create data will be set and same goes for update data when data is updated. 2) Create separate history table which will save historic data with date as column. I can set up triggers so that each time a change takes place like an update, insert or delete the information is wriiltten to another history table.
