I am a design engineer at a small company.
We design and manufacture electro-mechanical systems.
Mainly business to business.
I have a product that uses a microchip controller that plugs into a USB port. It uses a generic windows CDC serial driver.
I have a driver package with cat and inf file to assign device name. This works in windows 10, but I need to disable driver signature enforcement.
I would, therefore, like to sign the driver package. I have found a walk-through that shows what I think needs doing [login to view URL] but to try it I would need to buy a code signing certificate and I don't know if there might be something else I need to know.
I would like to find someone with experience of doing this.
Greetings,
I'll purchase and sign dll code with certificate.
I have hands on experience on self signing and dll and drivers signing.
Can you please initiate a chat session to discuss and finalize the project?
Looking forward.
Hi,
Yes, it is true that you need to purchase code signing certificate.
For this different vendors are available.
You need to have a lot of documentation work. I can help you to get it on your behalf. Even am good in registering the driver too.
