MS SQL User with Column and FIeld Level Permissions

Hello Sir/Madam I have solid experience as Oracle, SQL Server and Sybase, PostgreSql DBA. I am SQL server certified DBA. I worked as DBA in USA for 13 years. I came back recently to start my own work. I have a number excellent reference as DBA. NOTE: This is very small job and can be done in within an hour. It all depends on the number of databaes. Process I am going to follow: 1. Create login 2. Create users in the database(s). 3. Create a group because it is advisable to grant permission to a group rather than directly to a user. Also because if you want another user with the same permission than just assign the other use with same group. 4. Grant limited permission to the group and add use in this group. 5.I worked in USA federal bodies so I know FISMA compliance and security. I would create a view in SQL to allow the user to only be able to read the data from the view, The data can be specific tables and columns.
