LAST ANALYSIS Operating System : Microsoft Windows 2012 R2 x 64 Standard Edition SharePoint Version : SharePoint Server 2013 Build Version 15.0.4927.1000 SQL Server 2014 SP2 Issue : Search not working Search Service Account : jwap\sharepoint Reason : Search Service Application is corrupted. The below two services are corrupted Search Host Controller Service | Stopping SharePoint Server Search | Error Stopping Solution : Configure new search service Dependencies : SharePoint and DB are in same server. In our environment, search was not working with this scenario. But JWAP confirmed that search was working for them previously. What we can do : Delete the corrupted search service and configure a new service application for search. But I cannot guarantee it will work based on my experience in Our environment. Anyway, we can try if they are ready to share the server.
