In short, I have 34 indicators of sustainability measured for six African countries. I want to use ICA (as can be performed on Matlab, for example) to generate an overall index score for each country. In addition, I need individual component values to assign sub-index scores. These weighted components should ideally explain which indicators have a greater impact on the overall index score. The data has already been converted to a uniform scale. Please note that no *multivariate* test for normality was performed. More details can be provided upon request.
