Hi there
Our version of MySql was upgraded by a developer and now some of our sites don't work. Our hosting company has recommended to roll back the installation or the option posted below. We need someone urgently to help us on this - don't respond if you can't start work on it in the next 30 mins.
Thanks
"The mysqlclient on the server appears to be able to connect to the root
mysql socket file. Tested with the following command:
mysql -u root --protocol=SOCKET -p
If the php module installed in apache can still connect to MySQL then
you should be able to get the individual sites to use the php module
rather than php cgi as they currently are. The first thing to do is to
test that the php module can connect to mysql (possibly setup a test
script in /var/www/html), you may need to specify where to find the
[login to view URL] file in the /etc/[login to view URL] file.
Sock file should be in:
/home/virtual/FILESYSTEMTEMPLATE/.mysqlsock/[login to view URL]"
