I'm a 5+ years experienced Software Engineer , with exposure to various Java Web Frameworks and specs like JAX-RS (REST), Spring MVC, GWT, JSF, JSP, AWS SDK for Java, including writing and managing serverless microservices using Lambda functions fronted by API Gateway, and containers like Tomcat. On the database side, I have experience with RDBMS like Postgres and it’s derivatives and MySQL, along with general SQL and PL/SQL like PL/pgSQL, and the Java APIs like JDBC, c3p0, DBCP, JPA and Hibernate. Unfortunately, I have had no exposure to NoSQL so far. I have also worked on the front end, primarily in the ES6 dialect of JavaScript and libraries like React.js, jquery etc. I have contributed part-time to dev-ops activities, usually on the AWS cloud and physical linux servers as well, so I am well aware of AWS CLI and console and a bit of bash scripting. All this while, I have been mostly consulting remotely for startups located in the US or UK, as a team member and also as an individual contributor.
