I have a children's website selling stickers. S-m-e-l-l stickers dot com. The website needs SERIOUS SEO HELP!! The website isn't even really showing up in google for most of the important keywords. We used to have good keyword ranking in years past, but not anymore. This is an oscommerce website and everybody knows they are NOT search engine friendly. You must be extremely familiar with oscommerce. You must be an expert in oscommerce website search engine optimization.
Job duties:
1.)make a complete website backup before you get started so if you mess up the website, you can restore it!
2.)Give me a report detailing my organic search engine rankings for the keywords BEFORE you begin your SEO work
3.)Find out how my competition (the number one site listed in google for sniff stickers keyword) achieved their success and implement those strategies
4.)Install osCommerce Seo Modules as necessary. osCommerce seo modules include meta tags controller, search engine friendly urls, google analytics, froogle product feed, google sitemap and others.
5.) Get top 5 google rank for 10-15 keywords related to stickers (i.e. sniff stickers, scented stickers, scratch & sniff stickers, scratch and sniff stickers, etc). I will provide specific keywords list. This top 5 google rank must not be temporary, it must not be wiped away the next time google uses a new algorithm (i.e. Panda and Penguin )
6.) Get top 5 ranking for other search engines as well, i.e. Bing, yahoo, etc.
7.) Put social networking share buttons on my website so that if someone likes my website itself or the products on the website, they can share them with others via facebook, twitter, email, youtube etc. They can like my website via these buttons too.
8.) You must make a list of all that you are doing for my website, providing frequent updates and progress reports every few days or weeks letting me know the keyword rankings
9.) Give me an estimate of when you think I will have top 5 ranking on Google for the keywords I requested.
10.) Freelancer should have a good understanding of Google & Panda updates, and how to handle them.
11.) You must use white hat methods only. No black or grey hat methods. All methods must follow Google guidelines so that the website is not penalized or banned from Google EVER
