I want to test out an idea about comparing photos. To do this I want to first test out the mechanic. Eventually it would be a phone app, but to begin with I just want to create a little local website that creates a database of images, then serves up 2 random images at a time, and the user selects which one they prefer. As a result of the choice, some information is updated against that image in a database. Simple. As I say at the moment I'm not after something beautiful - only I'll see it. I'm after the following: 1) Simple website that will work on my mac laptop, running off a local MAMP server, and phones connecting to the laptop over wifi 2) Code clear enough that I can tinker with some of the mechanics (ie, the data being updated when a photo is selected) 3) HTML simple/clear enough that I can change the styling there's an example prototype available here: [login to view URL] - click on 'notes' on the side to check for any more notes.

I will build the website as per your requirement. There will be a frontend where the user is able to login and able to see 2 images and select them. There will also be a league table that shows the users ranking based on their scores. You will have access to the backend admin panel. From the backend you will be able to add you photos, see list of users, their ranking.
