Proposal Template

Our company, LEX3 Engineering Inc. (LEX3), is seeking the services of an experienced designer to prepare a new proposal template that will accomplish the following goals: • Enable straightforward and intuitive addition of content by LEX3 technical staff; • Ensure consistency in look, feel, and format; and, • Reflect LEX3’s branding and professional standards. Words LEX3 would use to describe our vision for the look, feel and format include: • Simple; • Modern; and, • Clean. The standard features of the proposal document must include: • Cover page (Section 1); o Styles:  Client Title  RFP Title  Date o Enable Room for photos (even full page photo) • Table of Contents (Section 2): o Styles:  TOC heading  TOC sections (Linked and updateable to main body;  Appendix sections (linked an updateable to appendix cut sheets) o No Header of Footer • Main Body (Section 3) o Styles:  Headings (4 levels numbering or lettering in hierarchy)  List (4 levels of bullets, 12 point font, taking as little space as possible)  Paragraph (12 Point font taking up as little room as possible but reflecting the vision of simple, modern and clean)  Figure Title o Header featuring LEX3, project and potentially orienting the reader within proposal document o Footer featuring page number o 1” margins • Appendix Cut Sheets (Section 4) o Styles:  Appendix Title The template must be prepared in the newest version of Microsoft Word. Included is a couple samples of previous LEX3 proposals. This has been included to illustrate typical examples of proposals that LEX3 submits, but in no way should be interpreted as limiting the successful proponents creative freedom. Also attached are LEX3’s branding standards and logo in multiple formats for your use. Please be prepared to submit in draft for comments, then a final. For your reference, our website is www.LEX3.ca.
