An innovative workwear, promotional clothing, embroidery and printing supplier, SHINY is the leading company for uniforms and decoration in the southern hemisphere. One of the largest employers in the industry, its stellar reputation has been built over 24 years, with an unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service and quality products. We are looking for a highly motivated Finished Artist with strong photo retouching skills to join our Graphic Design team within SHINY. The role will be responsible for providing support for the successful photo retouching and sometime InDesign template application for a current project of our 2019 catalogue. Key responsibilities: # Preparing and retouching images that are received from a photographer # Manipulating photographs in order to slightly change the looks of a subject. This includes basic fixes, like erasing pimples or making a ruddy complexion appear even, or remove wrinkles from garments # Transforming two or more subjects seamlessly # Making path around images in photoshop to remove background # Sometime, working on InDesign template The ideal candidate has: # Experience in Adobe Photoshop photo editing and retouching # A demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work within a fast paced environment # Good communication skills in English # Great attention to detail and a can-do attitude # Thrive on working collaboratively within a team environment # An expert understanding and working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
